Ticket purchase

Concessionary tickets shall only be used by those who satisfy the concessionary requirements. Not for resale or exchange. Non-refundable. Void if altered. Ticket admits one only; unauthorized duplicates will not be granted entry. If another ticket holder has already used the ticket or a copy of it, you must purchase a new ticket to gain admission. National Gallery Singapore (The Gallery) retains full discretion to grant or deny visitors entry into the exhibition.

The Gallery reserves the right to ask any person(s) to leave the premises due to unruly or objectionable conduct and behaviour. The Gallery is not responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury sustained by the ticket holder. Ticket prices and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

E-Ticket must be redeemed for Gallery Pass at National Gallery within 6 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the respective product/promotional description. Terms and conditions apply.

The Gallery reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. If we do, we will endeavor to revise the terms and conditions here, immediately.

Tickets are not for sale or exchange. They are also non-refundable and will be void if altered.

Voucher redemption

Original redemption voucher must be presented at the National Gallery Singapore (The Gallery) Ticketing counters for collection of one (1) Gallery Pass (of selected Type of Admission) to the galleries. Lost, stolen or damaged redemption voucher will not be replaced and will be considered invalid if found torn, or appears to have been forged, damaged, defaced, duplicated or otherwise tampered with.

Redeemed and collected/consumed tickets are neither replaceable, refundable or for resale. Redemption voucher is not for resale, exchangeable for cash, products or other services and cannot be used in conjunction with any promotion. The Gallery shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any matter arising from, relating to and/or attributable to such products and/or services.

The Gallery reserves the right to terminate, suspend or cancel (in whole or in part) this promotion/redemption. The Gallery reserves the right to replace this promotion/redemption with items of similar value. The Gallery reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or redemption from time to time without prior notice and without any liability.

The Gallery retains full discretion to grant or deny visitors entry into any exhibition.

Other terms and conditions of The Gallery may apply in addition to these terms.

In event of dispute, the decision of The Gallery is final. No correspondences will be entertained.
Donations
The following terms and conditions apply for donations that are made through the National Gallery Singapore payment portal via credit card, bank transfer or by cheque:

Cheques should be crossed and made in favour of "National Gallery Singapore". If submitting the cheque via post, please mail the cheque with attention to the Patrons Team at 1 St. Andrew's Road, #01-01, Singapore 178957 and include a completed Gift Form which can be found here.

Tax deductions are at the sole discretion of IRAS and in accordance with their prevailing rates. Upon request, a copy of the tax deduction receipt can be provided to donors who have donated a minimum of S$50.

All donations are non-refundable.

All privileges accorded to donors are subject to change, are non-transferable and are not for resale.

All e-wallet payment and credit card transactions will be processed in Singapore dollars subject to your credit card merchant’s prevailing foreign currency exchange rates.

The Gallery will collect and use personal data solely for purposes related to processing the donation and contacting you for purposes related to the donation. All personal data will be used in accordance with the Gallery's Privacy Policy.

The Gallery reserves the right not to accept any donation for any reason whatsoever.

The Gallery reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

Gallery Donation platform
- 1. All donations should be in Singapore dollars, with a minimum donation amount of S$5.
- 2. All donations to a campaign and/or cause will be disbursed to the respective pillar of support once the campaign and/or cause meets the assigned deadline regardless of whether the campaign and/or cause has met its fundraising goal.
- 3. By scanning the Singpass QR code, logging into Singpass or submitting a manual entry, you consent to allow the Gallery to collect and use your personal data solely for purposes related to processing the donation and contacting you for purposes related to the donation. Your personal data may also be disclosed by National Gallery to its third-party service providers or agents who may be sited within or outside of Singapore, for the purposes of administering and processing the donations. All personal data will be used in accordance with the Gallery’s Privacy Policy.

Adopt now

All adopted artworks (“Adopted Artworks”) shall be acknowledged only on available online platform(s) for as long as is practicable for the Gallery, and for as long as the Adopted Artworks are still on display, subject to the Gallery’s sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt the Gallery may no longer display Adopted Artworks for reasons such as but not limited to: conservation, theft, destruction, deaccessioning etc.

Adopted Artworks may have multiple Donors; for the avoidance of doubt, no ownership rights are conferred in the adoption of the Adopted Artworks.

The Donor agrees that the Gallery may use the Donor’s name to acknowledge the donation on all relevant platforms.

By submitting the adoption form, you consent to allow the Gallery to collect and use your personal data solely for purposes related to the donation.

Adoption amounts are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Tax deductions are at the sole discretion of IRAS and in accordance with their prevailing rates. Upon request, an electronic copy of the tax deduction receipt can be provided to donors who have donated a minimum of S$50. Please allow up to 30 working days for the processing.

Adopter Privileges: Complimentary insider membership – Membership is valid for 1 or 2 years depending on the adoption amount from the date when the membership activation email is sent. Please refer to membership terms and conditions for more information.

Adopter Privileges: 1 year complimentary Patron Privileges – Patron tier and privileges will be tagged to ‘Associate Tier’, find out more details here.

All privileges accorded to donors are subject to change, are non-transferable and are not for resale.

All privileges tagged to the adoption amount belongs solely to the registered email address owner, the privileges will be given accordance to the accumulation amount. (E.g. 1st donation S$300 – 1 year insider membership will be given, 2nd donation S$200 (total accumulated amount S$500) – An additional of 1 year insider membership will be tagged to the same privilege)

Group tours
-
Booking forms must be received at least 30 days before the tour date.
-
Booking requests received less than seven working days before the tour date will besubjected to an additional fee of $150 per guide/tour.

Reservations will be allocated on a first-come-first-served and subject to availability.

All payments need to be received 21 days before the tour date.

Postponement or cancellation of bookings:
- 100% of tour fee For cancellations received five working days or less prior to tour date - $150 administrative fee For requests to change tour dates or timings received three working days or less prior to tour date -
All admission passes sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Late arrival on tour date:
All tour participants are to assemble at meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
Arrivals later than 20 minutes will be considered no-show and no refund will be issued.

We reserve the right to cancel the tour without prior notice. In such a case, we will tryour best to arrange tour on the next available date at your convenience, failing which,we will process a full refund.

Tour prices and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

All rates are exclusive of GST, excluding of admission passes.

An administrative fee of $5 will be charged for each tour booking.
Free guided tours
To reserve a slot, proceed to our Tours & Programmes counter (City Hall Wing, Level 1) or Visitor Services counter (Padang Atrium, Level 1) at least 30 minutes before the tour starts. Limited slots are available on a first-come, first-served bases. Tour participants should purchase a Pass before joining a tour, with the exception of the Building Highlights Tour, which does not require any passes.

General Admission passes are required for this tour.

Concessions apply to children aged 2-12, seniors aged 60 and above, students and teachers. For concession ticket holders who have purchased their tickets online, please bring valid identification for verification.

This tour may not be suitable for children below the age of 13 and visitors with limited mobility due to:
- Steep and narrow stairways
- High steps at the Viewing Gallery
- Murder-related content

This tour route includes stairways and difficult to navigate spaces. For visitors with limited mobility, an alternative, abridged route will be provided (limited to one wheelchair user per tour)

Photo and Video Shoots

Personal photoshoots can be booked online via National Gallery Singapore’s website. Companies/Organisations/Bloggers who are interested to conduct commercial filming or photoshoots at the National Gallery Singapore (the “Gallery”) must submit their application to the Gallery for approval at least fourteen (14) working days in advance. Any submission less than fourteen (14) working days will not be entertained.

All charges are subject to prevailing GST. No refund will be given once booking is confirmed.

National Gallery Singapore reserves the full discretion to approve of or reject applications without having to provide any reasons.
-
Unless otherwise approved, there must be no more than 5 persons for wedding shoots, no more than 8 persons for family shoots, and no more than 8 persons for commercial shoots.

Unless otherwise approved, all personal photoshoots are only allowed within the stated timeslots, namely 7.30am – 9.30am, 10.30am – 12.30pm and 4.00pm – 6.00pm. Commercial shoots are only allowed from 7.30am – 9.30am.

Photoshoots are only allowed in permitted areas.

Filming and photography activities should be confined within the permitted areas.
-
The Applicant does not have exclusive possession of the permitted areas.
-
No property in the Gallery shall be moved, rearranged, or removed during the photoshoot.
-
Styling, makeup and change of attire is strictly prohibited in all public spaces. Styling, makeup and change of attire are only allowed in designated washrooms.
-
The use of flash and tripods is allowed in the permitted areas but is not allowed in the exhibition galleries.
-
Posing in swimwear, nude or other controversial attire is not allowed.
-
Naked flames are not permitted in any part of the museum.
-
Power supply is not provided during the course of filming/photoshoot.
-
The cleanliness and beauty of the museum must be respected at all times and any equipment should not obstruct public areas.
-
Upon completion of filming/photography, the premises must be left free of litter or debris. The Applicant will be penalized if they do not handover the premises in its original condition.
-
All special effects, stunts, materials, and adhesives must be approved in advance by National Gallery Singapore.
-
Depending on the nature of the request, National Gallery Singapore may also require the Applicant to seek written permission from relevant originating communities and/or organisation prior to the filming/photoshoot.

Security restrictions and instructions as defined and required by Gallery staff must be fully observed. All lighting and other restrictions for conservation reasons, as defined by Gallery staff, must be fully observed.

The Gallery reserves the right to stop the filming/photoshoot if the building or artworks is deemed to be at risk or if the project deviates from the terms of the approved application.

The Applicant assumes responsibility for and will compensate the Gallery for any loss and/or damage to the Gallery’s collections or property which may occur as a result of filming/photoshoot, crew or equipment movement.

National Gallery Singapore accepts no responsibility for injuries to persons and loss or damage of your property, incurred in the course of filming/photoshoot at the museum premises.

The Applicant must undertake to indemnify the Gallery and its employees against all claims arising out of any incident however caused and sustained by any of their crew during the course of the filming/photography session at the Gallery.

Failure to abide by the above term and conditions will result in immediate cessation of filming/photoshoot and cancellation of agreement, with no refund of payment or any form of compensation.
