Visions: An Outdoor Augmented Reality Art Exhibition
All day
How will today’s new visual media techniques—including AR, VR and mixed reality—expand how we experience art? Will the turn towards the virtual change art fundamentally, just as photographic techniques and mass distribution once altered our understanding of what an artwork could be?
Visions is an outdoor augmented reality art exhibition that brings together the works of renowned international artists such as Olafur Eliasson and KAWS, and debuts a commissioned AR work by Singapore artist Ho Tzu Nyen. Curated by Swedish curator Daniel Birnbaum in partnership with National Gallery Singapore and leading AR art production studio Acute Art, Visions reveals how extended reality formats allow artists to translate their creative visions into new digital mediums, offering visitors unprecedented access and revolutionary ways of perceiving their works.
To enjoy this experience, download the Acute Art app on your mobile devices and enjoy the view of the Gallery façade in a way you’ve never experienced before!
