Lee Kin Mun, known professionally as mrbrown, is a Singaporean blogger and podcaster, active since 1997. mrbrown is known for his biting satirical socio-political commentary on everyday life in Singapore and its many media restrictions. He has been dubbed the “Blogfather” of Singapore due to his popularity in the Singaporean blogosphere. mrbrown had a weekly column in TODAY newspaper until 2006, and continues to maintain his blog. He is the host of "the mrbrown show" podcast, one of Singapore’s oldest podcasts. mrbrown also produces videos on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and is most well-known for his Kim Huat character.
Tan Teen Zhen is a Curatorial Assistant at National Gallery Singapore. Her work and research interests revolve around Chinese ink and Chinese aesthetics.
