Jennifer K.Y. Lam is an Assistant Curator at National Gallery Singapore, where she contributes to research on art in Singapore and the ink medium. She read Art History at The University of Hong Kong, and holds a MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. Her recent exhibitions at the Gallery include (Re)Collect: The Making of Our Art Collection (2018), Wu Guanzhong: Learning from the Master (2019/2020), and Nam June Paik: The Future is Now (2021).
Ministry of Funny is a Singapore online comedy group comprising Haresh Tilani and Terence Chia. They combine comedy and technology to produce satirical content and comical debates about current affairs and viral news.Their podcast Yah Lah But, where they engage in uncensored banter over Singapore politics and news, has over 1.3 million streams and downloads. Additionally, they have also produced longform content like Chinese TV series The Amazing Showman and Tamil TV series Mars Poiyi Sernthuttom for Mediacorp in 2020. In 2019 and 2020, their series She’s a Terrorist and I Love Her was nominated for “Best Original Program by a Streamer” and “Best Comedy Program” at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
