The wall was filled with visitors’ aspirations for the National Art Gallery, Singapore

The much-anticipated Open House event held at the two of Singapore’s most well-loved monuments—City Hall and former Supreme Court Building—ended in explosive fashion, packing the grounds with close to 40,000 people attending the event on 9‒10 October and 16‒17 October 2010.

The street-level buzz started at 11am and stretched into the evening at 9pm. Many came as early as 10am in anticipation of the guided tours and goodie bag giveaways, as well as exciting activities such as film screenings, workshops, photography exhibitions, and bazaars. The festival culminated with a dazzling façade light up, showcasing over 66 masterpieces by pioneer local and regional artists like Georgette Chen, Liu Kang, Iskandar Jalil, Chen Wen Hsi, Chua Mia Tee, Hendra Gunawan, Le Pho and more.
