Amin Alifin
Amin Alifin is a multi-disciplinary performing artist with 17 years of professional experience in the performing arts. A versatile dancer and choreographer, his extensive credits encompass theatre, music and the visual arts. He also teaches, competes and choreographs both locally and on international stages. Amin’s performance and competition credits include being the first and only Singaporean to clinch the champion title at the Gatsby Dance Asia Finals in Tokyo.
In his residency, Amin will delve into the timeless allure of batik fabric across various eras, forging collaborative paths with artists from diverse backgrounds. His current approach involves marrying his experiences in the different performing arts while simultaneously challenging clashing ideologies from different schools of thought to create some form of peaceful chaos.
