Title
Fair game : a letter from Jose Garcia Villa
Creator(s)
Villa, José García
Scope and Content
A letter by Jose Garcia Villa which was sent to a newspaper publisher (possibly This Week), where Villa talked about two works of Arturo Rogerio Luz which were featured in This Week Magazine. According to Villa, Luz was a "first-rate Filipino talent in painting" based on his observation of Luz's artistic style and sense of form, balance, colour, and abstraction. Villa also identifies a few "fake artists" whom he thought lacked talent.
