- In her letter to Pauline Chen, Georgette Chen expresses happiness about Pauline’s recovery and assures her that she will send anything she needs. She mentions that the Raffles Library has requested to borrow nine paintings to be exhibited for about three weeks before they are sent to Kuala Lumpur. Georgette asks Pauline to inform Mr. Yew Koh that she will arrive in Kuala Lumpur on the 8th of June instead of the 1st. She shares her flustered state regarding the upcoming exhibition and mentions that she is drawing up a list of tasks, such as ordering frames, canvasses, and writing up the catalogues.
