- Scope and Content
- In her letter to Dorothy Lee, Georgette Chen shares that she has tried Dot’s molasses therapy and has experienced some improvement in her health. She no longer needs a walking stick, though her knees are not yet fully normal and she still experiences pain. She plans to try a new medication that is supposed to be less toxic. Georgette expresses a desire to introduce Dot to a friend of hers who is also a nurse in America and asks to be remembered to Uncle Eric when Dot writes to him. She also mentions her new house, which will resolve her high rent problem, and describes her busy life that includes teaching, painting, participating in exhibitions, visiting the Federation, and handling various other errands.
