- A news article about the first general art exhibition by the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP) where about 190 works by AAP members were displayed. The exhibition was opened on 3 July 1948 at the National Museum of the Philippines. Cash prizes up to Php2,500 were awarded by San Miguel Brewery.
