Gallery Gigs (LIVE!) lets you discover a range of music genres, from acoustic to electronic, all staged at the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium at National Gallery Singapore itself. Enjoy the chill acoustic beats of Shak’thiya and lewloh’s sets, with tunes that will move listeners of all backgrounds and stripes.

lewloh is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. His music encompasses the genres of acoustic pop, chill pop, and folk pop, dealing with themes of love, trauma, abandonment, healing, hope, and identity. With over 17 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music, lewloh has gained a steady following in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, and the Southeast Asia region. He has performed both locally and abroad, such at Singapore’s Baybeats Festival 2021 and Ignite Music Festival 2021, US music festival Queerfolk 2021, and SONIK Festival 2020 in the Philippines. He has also opened for singer Rhys Lewis in 2019. His discography currently spans 2 full length albums and 3 EPs, with the most release being his sophomore album ‘michigan/missinghim’.
Shak'thiya, or Shak, is a Singaporean songwriter. His music is influenced by and encompasses genres such as soul, rhythm & blues, folk-pop to even hip hop. Shak believes in less is more, preferring his music to speak on his behalf. He has participated in National Arts Council programmes such as Noise Singapore 2016 Music Mentorship, and The Great Singapore Replay 2017, and was featured in the 2017 ST Sessions as a rising home-grown talent. He has released the single “Taxi” in 2017, and in 2021 released his first EP “Sitting at Home”. In addition, he has played at shows and festivals locally and overseas, including the 2018 National Day Parade.
