Meet the pioneer
of video art

Born in present-day South Korea in 1932, Paik was a key figure in the avant-garde movements of the 20th century and one of the first international superstars in the art world.

The visionary artist played a leading role in bridging the gap between art and technology. He is also credited with coining the term “electronic superhighway,” which later manifested as the Internet.
