Explore Singapore’s first independent contemporary arts centre and its communities through works by Chong Li-Chuan, Urich Lau, and curator Adrian Tan in OPEN END: Resonate, Re-Read and Re-Trace The Substation Archive.
The exhibition activates the typically quiet and still Rotunda Library & Archive with text-based compositions, video installations and soundscapes, exploring and creating new narratives surrounding The Substation’s legacy.
OPEN END: Resonate, Re-Read and Re-Trace The Substation Archive is presented by National Gallery Singapore and supported by the Platform Projects Curatorial Award overseen by NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and The Substation. The exhibition is also organised in conjunction with The Substation’s Anniversary Events 2024.
